Currently at BancyCo we’re building a prototype for our fifth game after having just shipped our fourth, Neo Harbor Rescue Squad. We’re going to Gamescom in Cologne, Germany for the first time this year as part of the Indie Arena Booth.
Currently I’m playing:
- MiSide (Steam); Clever and very creepy psychological horror game. What if you dove into your phone to be with your anime waifu… and then everything got really messed up?
- AstroBot (PS5); Finally playing this stunning work of genius! Just top-tier all around; I like it much more than any mainline Mario game from the past seven years or so.
Currently I’m reading:
- A Side Character’s Love Story - What is it about romance stories about deeply introverted characters who take several volumes to admit their feelings to each other? I really love the clean, expressive art and the charming cast of supporting characters.
- Kowloon Generic Romance - I’ve been reading this since it debuted in English, and I just finished Volume 9. Layers are finally being peeled away, revealing intriguing details that are rendered lovingly in gorgeous artwork.
- With You and the Rain - Still beautifully-drawn, wholesome, funny, and sweet. It’s like a hot cup of tea when you’re tired.
